Oregon's Veterans Day is a special day of remembrances and celebration as we honor veterans of all eras of the U.S. Armed Forces, State Capital Park, in view of the State Capitol Building. This event will feature remarks by dignitaries and special guests along with a color guard, singing of the national anthem, laying of a wreath and "Taps."

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Dedication Celebration November 22 at 2 pm, is the formal dedication of the Vietnams Veterans Memorial on the Capitol Grounds honoring the 790 Oregonians who lost their lives in the Vietnam War as well as those who served from 1955 - 1975.  "This is about giving our veterans a place of res, and, for all of us, a place to heal," Steve Bates President and co-founder of the Vietnam War Memorial shared.
