Through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, children under 5-years-old can receive the gift of a book per month and the gift of literacy. The Rotary Club of Salem Creekside has helped bring the program to 10 ZIP Codes around the Salem & Keizer communities, promoting the program through numerous activities including a holiday float. The club’s $7,500 initiative was enhanced with a $2,500 District 5100 Matching Grant. This year, thanks in part to the efforts of the Salem Creekside Rotary club, the program will expand statewide through funding provided by the State of Oregon.
