Rotary Club of Salem-Creekside
About Our Club
Salem-Creekside Rotary is one of 9 Salem-Keizer area Rotary clubs. The Club was founded in 1998 and has always had a core belief in "Hands On" service within our community. We perform quarterly projects, primarily for non-profit organizations. Recent examples are clean-up work for Liberty House and sign preparation for the annual Awesome 3000 Race. We adopted the Halls Ferry State Park on South River Road and have construction and cleanup work. But our project work extends to international efforts also. We helped sponsor a medical prosthetics clinic in Peru in 2007-8. In 2010 the club funded a water purification project in Uganda. And, we assist with Distict 5100 efforts in sending books to Ghana schools. These projects exemplify the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self". Creekside Rotarians often gather in fellowship. As we are a small club, members know each other and enjoy our various social activities.
